§ 54-206. Continuances; representation at code hearings.

  • (a)

    No continuances shall be authorized by the hearing officer except in such cases where a continuance is absolutely necessary to protect the rights of the property owner. Lack of preparation shall not be grounds for a continuance. Any continuance authorized by a hearing officer under this section shall not exceed 25 days.

    (b)

    At the hearing, the case for the village shall be presented by the village attorney or his designee. The case for the respondent may be presented by the property owner, his attorney, or any other agent or representative.
