§ 54-105. Traffic compliance administrator.

There is hereby established the office of traffic compliance administrator, which shall be filled by appointment of the police chief. The traffic compliance administrator shall be authorized to adopt, distribute and process vehicular parking violations, compliance violations and automated traffic law violations and other notices required by this chapter or required by 625 ILCS 5/11-208.3, collect money paid as fines and penalties for vehicular parking violations, compliance violations and automated traffic law violations and operate an administrative adjudication system for those violations. The traffic compliance administrator is also authorized to make a certified report to the secretary of state pursuant to 625 ILCS 5/6-306.5 and the provisions of this chapter.
