§ 56-179. Established by legislative act; purpose.

  • The Brookfield-North Riverside Water Commission is establishing a common source of supply of water for the village and the village of North Riverside from Chicago, and to service other areas by contract, such commission being established under an Act entitled, "An Act to provide for the joint acquisition and operation of a waterworks system or common source of supply of water, or both, by certain cities, villages or incorporated towns, and authorizing the issuance of bonds for such acquisition, and for improvements, and extensions thereto, secured only by the revenues derived from the operation thereof," approved July 6, 1935."
