§ 54-1319. Permit for funeral processions and parades.

  • No funeral procession or parade, except the military forces of the United States, the military forces of this state, and the forces of the police and fire departments, shall occupy, march or proceed along any street or public place, without first having obtained a permit from the police chief. Such permit must be obtained not less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of such funeral procession or parade and such procession or parade must comply with such other applicable regulations as are set forth in this article.
