§ 54-174. Fees and costs.

(a)

Liability of registered owner. The registered owner of any motor vehicle impounded by the village pursuant to this subdivision shall be liable to the village for the payment of the administrative fee as provided in this subdivision in addition to any applicable towing and storage fees.

(b)

Administrative fees in addition to other costs, fees and penalties. Any administrative fee or cost provided for in this subdivision shall be in addition to any and all penalties and fees that may be assessed or imposed by a court for violation of any criminal offense or local ordinance violation offense and any towing or storage fees, or both, charged by any towing company.

(c)

Towing and storage fees to be approved by police chief. Any and all fees incurred for towing or storage of a motor vehicle impounded under this subdivision shall be those approved by the police chief for all towing companies authorized to tow for the village.
