§ 2-100. Call and notice of special meetings.

  • (a)

    Special meetings of the board may be called by the president or any two members of the board.

    (b)

    Public notice of such a meeting shall be given by posting a copy of the notice in the village hall at least 48 hours before such a meeting and copies of the public notice shall be supplied to the individual trustees and any local newspaper, radio or television station that has filed an annual request for such notice by delivering the same to the home or business address of the trustee or the news media within the village limits, and posted on the village website.

    (c)

    In the event a quorum of the elected members of the village board are present at any special meeting, the requirement of individual notice shall be deemed to have been waived.
