§ 26-1. Physicians to report diseases.

It shall be the duty of all physicians in the village to report to the health division any cases of contagious or infectious disease within the corporate limits of the village that he may be called on to care for, within 12 hours after being so called and having assumed professional charge of such case of such disease, and further to report in writing the recovery or death of such patient within 36 hours from such recovery or death.
