§ 16-20. Board of directors.

The public library established in this article shall be under the supervision and management of a board of seven directors to be elected in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Illinois Local Library Act, 75 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq. The directors shall have all the powers and authority conferred by the statutes of the state upon the boards of directors of free public libraries in villages.
