§ 14-88. Proration of fee.

  • Unless otherwise specifically provided, where application is made for a village license issue on an annual basis after July 1 of any calendar year, and the applicant gives satisfactory evidence that he has not engaged in the business, profession, or occupation so licensed prior to July 1 of such year, then and in the event, the fee for such license shall be two-thirds of the annual fee prescribed therefor; provided, however, that there will be no such proration of any annual license fee which is less than $5.00.
