§ 12-66. Stopping construction, alteration or repair of buildings.

  • The chief building inspector shall have the power, and it shall be his duty, to stop the construction of any building which is in violation of this chapter or other ordinances of the village, or the alteration or repair of any building which, in his judgment, is unsafe for the uses set forth in the application for the permit to do such work.
