§ 10-128. Limit on number which may be kept.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor within the village more than three dogs or cats, male or female, over two months old on any premises occupied by one family or more. Different parties living on the same premises or in the same building, or using the same premises, shall not keep or harbor thereon more than three such dogs or cats and, if they do so, each of such persons shall be guilty of violating this section. This section shall not apply to licensed pet shops, kennels and veterinary hospitals.
